How Lab Testing Works

During your virtual visit, the provider may recommend lab work based on your symptoms or medical history. This could include:

• STD/STI screenings

• Hormone panels

• Routine blood work (cholesterol, thyroid, etc.)

Getting Lab Tests

If lab testing is needed, your provider will:

• Recommend the appropriate test(s)

• Refer you to a local lab or in-person primary care provider

• Help you understand what to do next, including how to follow up on results

What HLTHI Does Not Provide

• We do not collect lab samples

• We do not send lab orders directly

• We do not provide in-person testing
